The mosaic on the wall of the swimming pool was created by Year 8 to 11 student volunteers in 2000 with the guidance of artist in residence Bridgette Minuzzo and project coordination by SAC art teacher Chris Phillips.
Sponsorship from Carclew Artists in Schools Programme and donations from Beaumont tiles and Hartley glass assisted in the creation of the swimming and water related theme of the mosaic.
The mosaic was unfortunately irreparably damaged during the Dunlevie Building redevelopment. A large piece has been kept in the SAC Archives.
