Cross of the Pope
A handcrafted cross created in Chile by Caroline Martinez
The Cross of the Pope is a handcrafted cross created in Chile by Caroline Martinez. Its original design was created by her mother, Morita Gil, for Pope Paul VI in 1973.
The cross was commissioned for the opening of the Year 12 and Staff Centre on 17 February 2014 and is now displayed on the wall in the St Aloysius College foyer.
